Updates for All Customers
These updates apply to both the WorkStep HIRE and RETAIN products.
Response rate improvement for check-ins. Reminders now alternate SMS and email (proven to improve response rates by 6%)
Previously, employee check-in reminders were sent via email and SMS at the same time. We will now alternate email and SMS because this has proven to improve response rates by 6%. If the employee doesn’t respond to the check-in the first time, we will send reminders that alternate email and text messages.
Reply Feature Improvements
We are updating the Reply feature in WorkStep RETAIN to improve the usability of this feature. We are limiting who can send a Reply, so reply can be limited to users who are trained on employee communication best practices, and we will now also display in the UI that a Reply was sent with the date sent and the person who replied.
- The Reply feature is restricted to users who are Admins and Editors.
- The Reply is visible in WorkStep, including who sent the reply, the date of reply, and the text included in the Reply.
- The Reply is sent via email and SMS (if both types of contact information are available).
- The Reply is limited to 1000 characters.
Permissions:
- Only Admins & Editors in WorkStep RETAIN will be able to see the Reply option. A View-only user would not see the option to Reply.
- All users who can see the Alert will be able to see the Reply that was sent with the text sent, the date sent, and the person who replied.
- Users will also see a visual indication on the Alert list that a Reply was sent.
Updates for WorkStep HIRE Customers
Better reporting for rejection reasons. Rejection Reasons Added to the Analytics Tab.
We are now displaying the reasons why candidates were rejected on the Analytics page in WorkStep HIRE. To view rejection reasons, click on the “Analytics” link from the left navigation, then hover over the pie chart next to the ‘Applicants’ and ‘Interviewed’ sections. You will see rejection reasons for both these stages.
- If there are no rejected candidates for a facility or position, there will be no graph icon displayed.
- For better usability, rejection categories with < 4% of overall rejections will not be displayed in the graph.
