Product Improvements

New updates released to WorkStep including overall performance improvements, improved user experience, and greater user control for leaders:

  • Updates to the Opportunities page performance, design, and calculation
  • New Actions Page in the main navigation
  • Point in Time Survey Creation (Limited release)
Updates to Opportunities page performance, design, and Turnover Reduction Potential calculation

The Opportunities page has been redesigned to improve overall performance and highlight the data most important to users to help them make impactful decisions:

  • Tabs in the Opportunities page change from Themes and Actions to Overview and Retention Data
    - The Retention data tab moves from the Insights page to the Opportunities page
    - The Actions tab is being pulled out from Opportunities into the main navigation page
  • Details on each theme are expandable from the Overview tab, rather than opening in a new page
  • Buckets of Opportunities (“Opportunities for improvement,” “Average,” and “Keep up the good work”) have been removed; Opportunities are ranked by Turnover Reduction Potential from highest to lowest
  • Feedback breakdown chart for each theme has been replaced with the following metrics, available on the Overview tab. For more details on these metrics, visit the Opportunities knowledge base article:
    - Theme Favorability
    - Impact On Turnover
    - Turnover Reduction Potential

The Turnover Reduction Potential calculation has been updated to include more data and be more holistic:

  • We will now be considering all responses from all employee tenures in a given timeframe, resulting in more data and a more holistic calculation. Because we are including more data in the sample size, users will likely see more themes with turnover reduction opportunities
New Actions Page in the main navigation

The Actions tab has moved from Opportunities into the main navigation and has been redesigned to make it easier for users to log and track Actions taken for their organization:

  • Toggle between viewing actions chronologically or grouped by theme
Point in Time Survey Creation (Limited Release)

Select customers will now have the ability to create and run Point In Time Surveys through the platform. For more details on Point In TIme Survey creation, visit the Point In Time Surveys knowledge base article:
