In May, WorkStep released Reactions; a feature designed to empower employees to share quick feedback on leadership communication.

Employee Experience

For every comment reply (closed replies or conversations) and Inform message sent, employees will now have the option to provide one of four emoji reactions:

If the employee accesses the message through an SMS link, they’ll be directed to the webpage version of that message where they’re able to provide a Reaction directly on the message.

If the employee accesses the message through their email, they’ll be able to provide a Reaction from email. A pop up will confirm to the employee that their reaction has been saved.

Employees are able to update their reaction after they’ve initially added one, but are limited to only one Reaction per message.

Employees are able to provide a Reaction at any time; including (but not limited to) a closed Conversation.

User Experience

WorkStep users may filter for comments with a Reaction using the ‘comment property’ filters on the Comment Inbox.

Comments that receive a Reaction after a user has read the comment will be marked as unread once again. Similarly, Conversations will sort to the top of the Conversations folder once a Reaction is received.
